To be honest, I’m finding that it’s getting harder to fight my disappointment about missing camp. It’s getting harder to find the good in everything. It’s getting harder to be still and know that He is God and that He is good.
But He reminded me that I don’t serve Him because of camp or because of the good things He has or hasn’t given me. I serve Him because He is good and because I love Him. Just like Job, I need to stay faithful no matter what He takes away from me. No matter what I lose, I can’t lose Christ.
